Soaring wind turbine BAT: electricity, cellular, Wi-Fi and weather station

In our time, there is a fairly large number of projects whose purpose is to obtain energy from alternative sources. Some projects are fantastic, others are implemented, and others are being implemented now. The latter category also includes the project of the Altaeros company, which created something similar to a huge turbine of a jet plane.



But in reality this “something” is a wind generator, which must soar (thanks to helium, which fills this “balloon”) at an altitude of 610 meters (2000 feet). Such generators are delivered to the launch site, and are fixed by a system of cables, cables. The cables received by the generator energy enters the storage / storage system, from where it comes to the right place.

In general, it is quite interesting, and not to say that this idea was very new. However, the developers plan to use wind turbines for other purposes. So, each unit is at the same time an access point to the Network, and the coverage at such a point is quite large. This is the base station of a cellular network, and, among other things, a weather station.



The developers claim that it is possible to use generators both in the arid desert and in the snow region, the units are well protected from adverse weather conditions.
