The
YouTube video service as part of a partnership with the US National Hockey League (
NHL ) will show its visitors a number of clips from the NHL matches of the 2006–2007 season, which will begin this month. The length of the videos will be from two to five minutes.
According to Reuters,
Google , which recently owns YouTube, is in talks with other sports organizations and looks forward to good luck. As part of the cooperation with the NHL, clips with hockey teams posted illegally will be removed from the YouTube site.
In addition, in the official videos will be inserted ads, the income from which will be divided between Google and the NHL.
