The Android community in
Kiev is pleased to announce its
second meeting at Ciklum’s SkyPoint
on Saturday, March 22, from
12:00 to 15:00.Everyone will have a great opportunity to listen to reports from community activists, to communicate in an informal setting, ask questions and share experiences with like-minded people.

This meeting will cover the following topics:
1)
“Android Studio & gradle - build a paid and free version of the application on the same code base” report by
Alexey Ponomarev . Developers want to release only paid versions of applications, and users want all applications to be free. One of the alternatives is two versions of the application: free with restrictions, and without restrictions for money. From the report of Alexey, you will learn how to make different versions of the application quickly and efficiently.
2)
“FRP on Android” report by
Yaroslav Geriatovich . Existing methods of working with asynchronous tasks in Android (and their disadvantages) will be briefly reviewed and how Functional Reactive Programming can help. There will also be an excursion to the RxJava library and examples of its use in Android applications are shown.
3)
“Animated menu with your own hands” report by
Kirill Mikos . You will learn how to quickly and easily create a custom menu for Android using animation.
