Springs - “why?” And “how much?”
Recall the background. Walking through the OBI we acquired some wonderful thin switches of the LK60 series. After analysis, it turned out that these switches are remarkable not only for their small thickness. In each switch LK60 there are regular seats under the springs that turn the "switches" into "buttons". It remained to find the appropriate springs and ideal switches for a smart home ready.

It was not easy. Found a special "Chelyabinsk factory of springs" has requested 4,500 rubles for a batch of 100 copies. 45 rubles for a spring at the cost of a switch in the region of 100 rubles to pay would be completely stupid. On the Internet were options for 15-20 rubles, which also was not the ultimate dream.
The case helped. An unexpected acquaintance turned into the emergence of a new heading at the manufacturer. Namely those original springs can now be purchased here . Total for 3 rubles apiece. Additionally, for our experiments we received a small set of "exhibits", which we are going to tell you today:
Frames from natural materials
First of all, we wanted to feel the beautiful frame. In OBI, their choice was very poor - only white glass, which we have already shown in the previous post. Today we can show photos of all other species.

What can be said about this framework? Only that all of them really look great and will be able to satisfy the most various wishes. Especially beautiful looks black glass. Everything looks natural, the aluminum frame is really made of a single piece of aluminum, the weight feels great, it is not a dummy.

When choosing components for an order, we came across one very interesting position for the DIY community. It is called simply and inconspicuously: "Stub with a support . " In fact, this is a good preparation for those who wish to build something of their own in the wall:

That is, the “device” consists of a metal part with struts with which the front panel is mounted in a standard wall box and a plastic front panel in which you can make holes and place everything that you have wanted for a long time, but it was not possible. All this is closed with a standard frame and looks quite decent.
Other components of the series
All who feel like it, can completely “walk” along the components of the series and discover there many interesting things. Type of ethernet sockets and television connectors. These components were of little interest to us, so they did not get into the order. From the title photo, you can see that the Audio Outlet Mechanism and two more complex components, a motion sensor and a dimmer, were still in our hands. What is the result?
As a result, we have a series of wiring products of good quality and diverse in appearance, which can be effectively used during the installation of the Smart Home. Button switches in products from other manufacturers is a one-time phenomenon. You can find one or two products in a series with such functionality. Usually it is a single switch.
In switches of the LK60 series, easily reworked with the help of springs, you can get push-button functionality in two-and three-key switches. Competitors have no such opportunities in principle. Add to this the fact that the LK60 switches have a minimum thickness and get the perfect solution for your smart home experiments.
