A miniature tricopter with a 1080p HD camera on a Kickstarter collected almost $ 1 million instead of 35 thousand

The device is also equipped with a wireless communication module for broadcasting the received image to the operator’s smartphone. The project of this tricopter was exhibited at Kickstarter, in order to get 35 thousand US dollars to start mass production of these aircraft.

But it turned out a little differently as the developers had planned. The project collected a record 925 thousand US dollars instead of the planned 35 thousand. At the same time, the cost of a trikopter is rather big - $ 500.

According to the developers, this tricopter is easy to run, due to its size, it can be carried in a small bag (the device folds when carried).



The Pocket Drone design uses high-quality materials, and in the event of a breakdown of any part, it is easy to replace. There are all sorts of goodies such as autopilot and the function "follow me".



It should be noted that the tricopter itself costs $ 495. However, if the buyer still wants to get a tricopter with a corresponding camera, then it will have to pay $ 595. But in this case, everything is already collected and optimized for photo / video.



In general, Kickstarter users liked this so much that they threw almost 30 times more than required :) Well, let's hope that the developers will add a couple of interesting functions and modules - after all, yet $ 1 million is not 35 thousand, now can and turn around.
