1World Online: the very first post about who we are and why we are here?
I want to add some logic to our blog, so first I will try to answer the question: “Why are we here?”, And also will tell a little more about our company.
1World Online was founded in 2011 by Silicon Valley entrepreneurs: Alex Fedosseev and Damien Leostic, and later joined by Brad Kayton. All of them have previously worked together in 3 companies with successful exits. Currently, about 30 people work on the project, and our central office is located in San Jose (California, USA), in its very center, in the former Italian bank building. In the photo below you can see it - it is a skyscraper with a terracotta roof and a turret on top.

By the way, our development team - SEVA-team, is located in Sevastopol and is also going to write here about the practical experience of project development. And our CEO Alexei Fedoseyev will talk about how to build a technology startup in Silicon Valley. So, ask questions, and we will try to answer them in our future publications.

So, 1World Online appeared first as a mobile application, then the site 1worldonline.com appeared. And, at the moment, the project is already presented in the interfaces: Website, Facebook app, Android app, iOS app, Windows 8.

The main idea of the project 1World Online is to create an effective tool for collecting opinions on any issue, to give structure to this process, adding expert opinions for each point of view and facts confirming these opinions. Since such information is interesting not only to the participants of voting, but also to businesses, as well as government agencies, the product received in 2013 continued in the form of effective tools for the B2B market. I added a picture that, in my opinion, explains well: why should the media cooperate with us.
I want to say that we highly appreciate the prospects for the promotion of 1World Online in Russia, including because we are already cooperating with some media and see how interesting our services are for them. To do this, we Russified our widgets and are developing the Russian-language version of the site.
