While Microsoft is trying to somehow interest the public in its 10,000th (I'm about dollars) Surface, someone Xylomn (apparently, a modder) has assembled his own PC in the form of a “coffee table”. He did this as part of a thesis for a Software Engineering degree (software development). A prototype turned out very worthy. Having assembled several relatively serious hardware (24-inch ACER monitor, Intel Pentium DualCore E2180 processor, 2 GB of memory, 250GB HDD, GeForce 8400GS, and Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 camera) and added some of its own developments as software, Xylomn presented a fairly functional coffee table PC. With a touchscreen and a camera hidden behind it to track user movements. The software developed by Xylomn allows you to download data to a PC via Bluetooth, work with an interactive map and use the computer at once for several users.
