EeePC is the perfect gadget for bloggers

IMHO all those who say this simply do not correctly position the new device. No need to treat it like a laptop and everything will fall into place. It's just a gadget for networking and with documents whose dimensions allow you to carry it with you just everywhere. The target audience can be huge from journalists in order to carry such a thing on any kind of presentation (Weight is less than a kilogram of One kilogram) to the admin machine that is convenient to carry to all kinds of servers to configure them via ssh.
And here I have identified for myself another category of users - bloggers. Sometimes the idea of ​​a good post or a post visits, but we all run somewhere and rush, therefore, the blogging device must be mobile. But how mobile? Any kind of PDA is not serious. Taping on the screen more than two paragraphs is already inconvenient, keyboard players improve the situation but not as much as we would like. A laptop? If this is not Apple's air, then in a month you will get tired of wearing, but the main value of a mobile solution is that it is always near. Now look at the EeePC. Dimensions and weight allow you to keep it with you 7x24, and a full-fledged Linux on board will allow you to easily merge photos via usb and, after putting the post, send it to the blog by pre-connecting the handset as a gprs modem or simply finding a Wi-Fi point nearby.
In general, in April (it will be my birthday), I will take for myself such an assistant.
