On March 7, we added time zone accounting to the charts of your contribution. GitHub is used everywhere - and we want it to be reflected in its capabilities. If you happened to work from Japan, Australia or Ulaanbaatar, we want to consider your contribution from your point of view.
When calculating commits, we will take into account information about the time zone present in the timestamp of these commits. Problems and merge requests created on the World Wide Web will begin to use the time zone of your browser. If you use the API, you can also specify your time zone .
We do not want to spoil your current productive work, so time zone registration will start only for a contribution made after Monday, March 10, 2014 (Temps Universel Coordonné).
