Last time we had an introductory meeting. About 25 people gathered, we learned who in Moscow is developing on Scala and what interesting projects there are. The main topic was chosen
course on reactive programming on Coursera, which just then came to an end.
This time we will gather to listen and discuss two reports:
- Alexey Ivanov will come from St. Petersburg and tell the report "Monadic Bakery with Spray and Scalaz" ,
about why Spray and ScalaZ are not scary beasts, but good friends; - Vladimir Uspensky will talk about the theory of types and how it is connected with the usual development in the report:
"Type theory, or how we do math programming in Scala . "
The presentations will be far from introductory, a little deeper will touch on the topic of functional programming and are intended for trained listeners. After tea we will discuss the reports, topics of interest, as well as future plans.
We are waiting for all those who are interested on March 14, at 8:00 pm Friday, at
the Tinkoff Credit Systems office at the water stadium .
