Self-propelled garden robots

One of the clients of the company Trossen Robotics has published a video, which demonstrates its new device, Toro-Bot. These are self-propelled robotic platforms , on which lamps are installed in traditional Japanese style. Thus, the author proposes to make the lighting of any garden dynamic.

We imagine a garden that takes care of itself independently, which in some way understands and interprets the laws of harmony and balance, after which it changes itself depending on the season, the presence or absence of people. Such a self-developing structure that creates dynamic connections between the components of the garden.

Each lamp is programmed to a different behavior, which gives them individuality. For orientation in space using infrared sensors. The robots are connected to an XBee wireless network, whose central computer allows you to easily manage them from mobile devices, as shown in the video.
