Google shows old maps

You can see today's Earth using Google Earth maps. But how did the planet look like before, when it was not photographed from the satellite, but painted “by eye”?

Google enthusiasts digitized some of the maps from the American collection and put them into Google Earth. Now everyone can look at Asia at the beginning of the 18th century (1710) and Africa at the end of the same century (1787), and also see the globe through the eyes of Cassini (1790) and get acquainted with the maps of David Ramsey (1680- 1892 years.
