After the official commissioning of the DataPro Tver data center, it was visited by guests - representatives of the business community of Tver, St. Petersburg and Moscow, to get acquainted with the object in more detail. Increased interest in the data center has led to the rapid access of DataPro to the Russian data center market, the successful implementation of the project, which fit into the deadlines and the budget, as well as unique engineering solutions that are applied at this facility.
DataPro Data Center Tver received the Uptime Institute Tier III fault tolerance certificate in the Design category. In the near future it is planned to receive a certificate for the construction project itself (Tier III Facility).

"DataPro Tver" is an example of a well-managed project, thoughtful design ...

... as well as a well-protected company. The complex security system of the building includes a round-the-clock guard post, whose functions are complemented by the external and internal contour of the video surveillance system, as well as the access control system with biometric terminals. Thanks to these measures, the object is an impregnable fortress.

Access to the data center is carried out in compliance with all strict rules (including the use of biometric terminals), which are characteristic of a regime object.

In order to maintain perfect cleanliness in the data center premises, guests are asked to wear traditional shoe covers at the entrance or use a special apparatus for putting on shoe covers.

The external facade and indoor floors are lined with high-quality tiles, designed for long-term operation.

The power supplied to the DataPro Tver data center is 4.5 MW. Power supply is provided by two independent feeders from urban substations. The working part of the data center consists of four computer rooms, 170 square meters each. m., which can accommodate a total of up to 400 racks. The total area of the DataPro Tver data center building is 2650 square meters. m, raised floor - 1000 square meters. m

Machine rooms are fully prepared for the installation of customer equipment. Cooling is organized on the principle of “hot and cold” corridors.

The data center has equipment only from leading suppliers. All server and network equipment is housed in standard 19 ”lockable APC by Schneider Electric cabinets.

Cloud services are implemented on the hardware and software platform of HP and VMware.

To deploy an Ethernet network, a structured cabling system based on TE Connectivity passive network equipment was installed in the data center. The supplier of active network equipment has become a company Cisco Systems.

On the first floor of the data center there are technical rooms in which are installed: the main switchboard (MSB), air conditioners, adiabatic humidification system, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) with battery shelves.
In DataPro Tver, effective and at the same time cost-effective solutions are used, which over time may be adopted by other designers and builders of data centers. Engineering solutions are implemented in such a way that the investment and capacity of the data center can be increased step by step.
For example, the original issue was resolved with the choice of the scheme of guaranteed power supply of the load: the 3 / 2N (“star”) scheme was implemented, which has been successfully used in many foreign data centers.

The total power consumption of one server room is 700 kW. In each of the three UPS rooms, a group of three Schneider Electric Galaxy 7000 sources of 400 kVA is installed. Each load in this circuit is connected to two active inputs. The number of critical loads, also includes air conditioning.
In normal operation, all loads are protected by uninterruptible power supplies. When one of the beams disappears, the operability is preserved: even if an accident occurs on the centralized bus of one of the UPS groups, the neighboring UPS group will pick up the load from the other input. The number of UPSs in this circuit is less in comparison with the 2N circuit (3x400x4 = 4800), and therefore the system is cheaper: the total installed capacity is 3,600 kVA (3x400x3).

In this embodiment, all the advantages of a reliable 2N scheme are retained. In this case, the UPS is loaded on 2/3 of the nominal value, and not 50%, as in the 2N scheme. Therefore, the efficiency is higher, and electricity bills are less. The 3 / 2N reservation scheme used at the Tver facility is for the first time in Russia certified by the Uptime Institute.
