Recently, many devices using mobile Internet have appeared. These are alarm systems, automation, and car trackers, and navigators with traffic jams. All of these devices consume mobile Internet in very small quantities and irregularly. For example, I have a GSM alarm system that sends a photo of a burglar via GPRS and cannot send a photo on demand. Another example: a car tracker sends several bytes every 30 seconds while the vehicle is moving. Unlimited tariffs for such devices are completely unnecessary. In the usual tariffs of all operators, the mobile Internet costs about 10 rubles per megabyte rounded up to 100 kilobytes, so the same work of a car tracker will be very expensive.

Outgoing calls in Moscow and the region: 3 rubles, in other points of Russia - 9 rubles.
At MegaFon, you can connect the option “Gigabyte on the road” for 300 rubles. This is a gigabyte of Internet consumed anywhere in Russia, except Moscow and the region, which has no time limit. Rounding up to 100 KB per session.

Internet - 1.5 rubles per 1 Mb throughout Russia, rounded to 1 Kb.

The disadvantage of the Beeline “Simple Internet” tariff is the lack of voice calls. This means that, for example, a GSM alarm system will not be able to call you when an alarm occurs.
MegaFon tariffs are suitable only for use in Moscow and the region. For use in the rest of Russia, you need to connect the option “Gigabyte per road”, but there rounding is up to 100 Kb per session.
The cheapest and universal tariff is MTS Connect 4, it’s only important that the Internet works well in the right places for MTS, and they have problems with it.
