Volvo S60 and XC60 models are already available in Russia with the Sensus Connect system on board. At the same time, at the MWC, the company is only now presenting a variety of solutions, including technologies from Ericsson, which make the life of the motorist more comfortable.

Sensus Navigation is optional. The system automatically updates maps and receives information about traffic jams (through the Traffic Message Channel), and also, of course, builds routes. Connection is via 3G.

Another additional feature is Volvo On Call. The system uses an additional SIM card to connect to 3G - so that you can have the opportunity to sit on the Internet from a car. A nice bonus: the system can create a Wi-Fi hotspot for gadgets located in cars. The application for smartphones on Android, iOS and Windows Phone 7 Volvo On Call allows you to turn on the engine or air conditioning, as well as to find out if the doors are open. This is not a complete list of features.

Volvo On Call also allows you to contact emergency cases - for example, if an accident has occurred or the car just stalled. In addition, the system works as a satellite alarm.

Using the above-mentioned systems, as well as the technology of disposable keys for the car, Ericsson together with Volvo figured out how to deliver goods to customers directly in the trunk.
