At the last Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Samsung Electronics presented a wide range of the latest LED components for advanced mobile devices - smartphones and tablets. Samsung's new products include two LED flashes with a built-in reflector ─ 3432 1.8t (FH341A) and 3432 1.4t (FH341B), an LED flash with an inverted-chip method (flip-chip) 2016 (FH201A), and two side LEDs ─ 3810 0.6t (MS062F) and 3810 0.8t (MS082F).

It's no secret that the cameras of modern smartphones are increasingly seeking to replace individual cameras ... and gradually succeed in this. But in order to compete, they need a wider viewing angle for high quality images. Samsung's new LED flashes are designed to provide mobile users with a wider viewing angle, thanks to the integration of the light source, the housing and the reflector with its own optics and diffusion functions.
New flash 3432 1.8t (FH341A) provides a level of illumination of more than 165 lux at a current of 1 A and a minimum color rendering index CRI 80, guaranteeing high-quality images in day and night lighting. The novelty will be used in flagship smartphones since this year.

Another flash 34321.4t (FH341B) was developed specifically for very fine technology. The thickness is only 1.4 mm - a good indicator for smartphones and tablets not thicker than 7 mm. The minimum level of illumination - 165 lux.

In the outbreak of 2016 (FH201A), a proprietary technology for filling assemblies with phosphor was used, which is applied with a thin layer to each assembly. It is extremely flexible and guarantees a light output of 220 lm, reducing the color deviation by 40% compared to previous versions of flares, in which the phosphor was applied to each chip. Also, this LED solution provides high color accuracy, which is rare for most modern LED products.

The line of new LED components also includes two side LEDs - 3810 0.6t (MS062F) and 3810 0.8t (MS082F), providing high color reproducibility and brightness level. New products are energy efficient, successfully operating at a voltage of less than 2.9 V. Samsung 3810 0.6t ensures a light intensity of 3.1 cd at a z-height of only 0.6 mm, which is also optimal for thin smartphones and tablets. 3810 0.8t provides an increased luminous intensity of 3.2 cd with a thickness of only 0.8 mm.
Mass production of the above-mentioned LED solutions for mobile devices will begin in March of this year.
