Yota Devices introduced the second generation smartphone with two screens YotaPhone

As far as one can understand, the sales of the YotaPhone went quite to nothing. Of course, this device did not diverge in the millions, but no one counted on this, because the device is a niche one.

So, the company Yota Devices at the MWC 2014 introduced the second generation YotaPhone. According to the developers, this device corrected the shortcomings and flaws found in the first device.

YotaPhone 2 is equipped with two displays, like the first generation of devices. One display, as before, color, the second - e-ink (black and white, yes). But now the second display is also touch, in the first generation of devices only the color display was touch.



Now the second display can be the main one, which significantly prolongs the device's battery life (its capacity is 2550 mAh). As for the size of the displays, the color screen is now five-inch, and black and white - 4.7-inch. The display resolution is 1080 * 1920 and 540 * 960 pixels respectively.



The thickness of the device is reduced to 8.99 mm.

Increased hardware performance, thanks to the installation of a quad-core Snapdragon 800. NFC support has also been introduced.

Unfortunately, the planned price of the device has not yet been announced.
