Silverlight earned in Opera

Microsoft Silverlight technology has not yet gained widespread acceptance, although no one doubts the corporation’s ambitious plans. One of the reasons why web developers prefer to dominate the Flash market is its wide cross platform. The Adobe product works in almost any modern browser, which cannot be said about Silverlight, in the compatibility table of which Opera is not popular with us. But as it turned out , Silverlight 2 Beta 1 released yesterday is working on the latest Opera 9.50 snapshot for Windows. Those of you who are wary of experimenting with weekly builds will have to wait for the final version. The rest, like me, can now see working examples on silverlight.net . Unfortunately, things are worse with real sites, and most of them do not detect the installed plug-in, but the first step has been taken, which is good news.
