Lightpack went on sale in Russia

Wonderful news from the guys from Izhevsk, just recently started sending devices to investors with Kickstarter . Today, the new Lightpack has become available in the Russian store at a price of 2999 r. Moreover, the price is lower than international, and the price already includes shipping by EMS. I wrote a review of the last revision of the device and the user’s differences there are few. Of the innovations, this is support for Android , but so far in test mode.

Lightpack is an open-source device for lighting the monitor and enhancing the presence effect when watching TV. Depending on the chosen settings, you can either enhance the effect for movies and games, or keep your eyes safe if you often have to work at the computer in the dark. Anyway, Lightpack in less than 15 minutes is mounted on the back wall of your monitor, TV or laptop and highlights the surface behind it with actual colors.

The software analyzes the image on your monitor and sends data about it to the board via USB, which, in turn, illuminates the wall with the appropriate RGB-LEDs with the appropriate light. Most of all, the effect resembles the illumination of Philips Ambilight TVs.
