In 2007, Golden Telecom will invest $ 55-60 million in the construction of its own FOCL

By the end of 2007, Golden Telecom plans to invest $ 55-60 million in the construction in the European part of Russia of its own backbone fiber-optic communication line (FOCL).

The construction project of the main fiber optic link was launched in mid-2004 and continued in 2005 and 2006. To date, $ 24 million has been invested in the project.
