In a recent topic about PHP, the devil pulled me to start a holivar. Taking this opportunity, I apologize for such a disgrace. Let me correct the situation somewhat and lead her away from the discussions.
My position is that opinion is determined by experience and circumstances. I hope this will not cause controversy if you are not unnecessarily picky :) Circumstances are a very many-sided thing, and so easily you can slip into discussing the meaning of life, so I will focus only on experience. It is he who allows us to make a judgment about something. We rely on him when we consult with competent and reputable people. I propose to summarize our experience, dividing it into some categories, so as not to discuss it useless, and to compare our points of view depending on personal experience. Whose experience is important, and what conclusions to do - everyone decides for himself.
So the poll. The goal is to find out preferences depending on the experience of using the language. For brevity, I have used the following terms:
* Little experience - did not work with the language for more than a year, or never did anything complicated with it, or did not work at all but heard / read something about it.
* Great experience - everything that is not small: he worked for over a year, participated in projects with complex architecture.
')
Context - web development. The survey relates exclusively to the area where both languages are applicable and applied.
Please refrain from holivar. Express your opinion by voting. I understand that the survey is not comprehensive. If the results seem ambiguous to someone, it will be possible to conduct a clarifying survey.
