Last week, we added a new feature that not only makes social likes useful for a programmer , but also allows us to discover important and useful information. We called this opportunity the sonorous English word Discover.
The product philosophy is based on the fact that we classify information as interesting or not through social “like”. If your colleague, friend or person with close interests “likes” some article, you may like it. Based on this, we decided to try to add something like “friends” or “followers” ​​from social networks and let other people see what is interesting for you.
To enable a new feature is very simple In the left pane, you can see the new tab “Discover” when you switch to which you will be asked to find your colleagues, whose likes you may be interested in. If you have already connected Twitter , Facebook or GitHub accounts, we will try to look for your friends there and if they already have an account on Likeastore - suggest them as candidates.

Immediately after this, Discover will be activated. According to its design, it is something between a “wall” of VKontakte or a Twitter feed.
For me, Discover has become a small morning ritual, like watching the news or reading a newspaper over a cup of coffee. Relevant and interesting information in one tape.
