JetBrains Day in Yaroslavl

From time to time, our friends and colleagues call us to visit. It happens that we are ready to visit the next street, and sometimes - a few hundred kilometers from our office. In November 2013, there was just such a chance: friends from the company Akvelon invited us to Yaroslavl University. Since we happen to be in Yaroslavl infrequently, then the topics for conversation were typed for the whole day, which we called so: Day JetBrains .

The program was very dense, and there were reports designed for different levels of training: it all started with reports for students without serious industrial development experience, and after lunch, developers with experience would have to go massively. Akvelon even chartered a bus, which brought both developers and students from Ivanovo.

Next - the actual reports. The sound quality is so-so, for professional microphones were not taken, everything was written on the camera's built-in microphone. My bad, I repent. From now on, I promise not to forget buttonholes. Many thanks to mezastel for video processing, this is a mountain of work, for we all wrote in a row.

Screencasts (slides and demos) are integrated into the main part of the video. If you don’t see them right away - this is normal, they appear at that moment when it’s necessary (or a little later, if I later remembered that the demo should be recorded).

Some minor reservations and funny situations will surely be seen on the video, the material is filmed informally, and sometimes we even answer the questions more arrogantly than we should (I’m talking about my answer about the C ++ IDE that everyone wanted to see before the end of 2013 that I could undoubtedly hope for those present).

If interested, then the screencasts and video processing was done using Camtasia Studio 7 for Windows.

We will be glad to questions and comments! Enjoy watching!
