Overview of the active stylus HEX3 Nota

Many on Habré are grieving for those times when you could poke a stylus into small buttons and click directly on the screen without Cintiq 'a. Chinese styluses are greasy and almost no difference with a finger. And if they are made thinner, the digitizer stops recognizing touches.

Not so long ago, the campaign to raise funds for the production of the first batch of active Nota styluses ended on the kickstarter . And tonight I received an envelope with a cherished device.
The whole feature and difference from the Chinese counterparts is that the tip thickness is just 3.7mm. Enough to see what is happening on the screen.

Options modest. In a small box with a stylus only a spare tip and a battery are supplied, nothing more.

After turning on the power button is highlighted by a red LED all the time. The brightness is small, enough to understand whether the device is on and not annoying.
The thickness of the stylus grieved. It is clear that you need to fit the electronics and battery (AAA), but still, compared with the Wakomovsky, this stylus seems to be greasy. The upper aluminum part with a battery is heavier than the bottom plastic and slightly outweighs. By the way, the plastic part is packed in soft-touch rubber, again losing wacom.

And actually about working with the screen. The stylus slides across the screen almost like a dry finger. Here are just the results can not please everyone. The photo above shows how the Nexus 5 responds to the stylus. The red lines are an attempt to draw along the ruler. It is seen that the vertical axis is too much noise. With quick strokes, this is not very noticeable (as in the photo), but there can be no talk of small details without a zoom.
After testing with a nexus, I decided to try the stylus with a Chinese Cube U9GT tablet and then there was a bummer - the digitizer almost does not recognize the touch of the stylus. If you draw a line from edge to edge of the screen, you get a Morzian.
If you believe the promotional videos on the iPad, the picture is much better.

I will not draw any conclusions from this short review. Everything depends too much on the device with which the stylus is used (the price of which, by the way, is $ 50).
