Video
Gmail Art , which appeared on YouTube on the eve of February 23 (approx .: this
was mentioned on Habré ), for the first few days has been viewed more than 135 thousand times. We received a lot of positive feedback, as well as questions: who created this “canvas” and “from what trash ...” elements that traditionally appear only on a computer monitor are collected.
Without thinking twice, I decided to use my official position and reveal some secrets of creating this video.
So what lies (literally this time) at the heart of the Gmail interface, recreated in front of the audience during the video?
')
- 10 liters of white paint
- 2 kg of millet
- 1 hair dryer
- 45 small lego details
- 1 mop
- 18 brushes
- 32 plasticine packaging
- 1 saw
- 18 square meters of floorboards
- 12 spray cans
- 162 meters of gray film
- 1 printer
- 4 packs of paper
The list goes on and on ...
To create the letter M from the Gmail logo in the final it took 3 sweaters, 2 pairs of gloves, 3 balls, a set of children's plates, 3 pillows, a hockey stick, 2 dumbbells, a scarf, a folder for papers, caps and slippers. All this, of course, was supposed to be only red!
For all this to turn into a Gmail window, it took about 26 hours of pure time, during which 8 people glued, painted, dried and laid out the details of the future "canvas" under the vigilant supervision of a camera hovering at a height of 6 meters.
Want to know more? Stay tuned for updates: a video will soon appear on YouTube about how the letter M, shot by the project participants, was collected.
