Data security: server at home or in a data center.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am already completely taken aback between the desire to have iron security and at the same time a reliably working web server.

I have two alternatives for today:
1. Put the web server in the rack of the Moscow data center.
Pros:
- 24-hour thick Internet;
- 24-hour food;
- 24-hour air conditioning;
- 24-hour video surveillance;
- 24-hour admin side by side;
- criminal punishment for theft of the server.

Minuses:
- malefactors can twist the screw, download info and stick it back (you never know, are familiar with the data center administrator or gave the admin a paw).

Ways to prevent cons: encrypting logical partitions at the OS level.

2. Put the web server to your home.
Pros:
- the inability to remove the hard or drag off a server without a lot of tension.

Minuses:
- the absence of all 24-hour and reliable, which is indicated in the pros of the data center.
