Do you consider / limit access to the Internet in your company?

In the company where I work, now there are processes to restore order with the access of employees to the Internet. In this regard, I wondered: what is the access to the network in other IT offices today? I think that the results of the survey will be of interest not only to me, but also to other system administrators and heads of IT departments. Many years ago, proxying was rampantly practiced, but it was gradually superseded by regular routing and an open channel for everyone. How are things going today?

Please give answers only to those who work 1) in the office, 2) in an IT company (i.e., when the company's product is software or a web service).

Regarding active and passive surveillance in the penultimate question: actively - this is when a special person constantly monitors what is happening. Passively - when “recording” is made, but they are only looked at when necessary.

Thanks in advance to all survey participants.
