Java application servers
Tomcat 7 remains the leader among Java application servers, and in December it became only more popular (83%). Interestingly enough, Tomcat 6 loses its second position in favor of Glassfish. Jetty usage also decreased (2%). Outsider TomEE consistently takes 1%.

Let's see which regions made Tomcat and Glassfish even more popular. The leader of Tomcat 7 in Ukraine in December was 94%. Glassfish should say thanks to Finland for 18% of users. In November, a large percentage of Finnish users used Jetty. It seems that the last months of 2013 most affected the distribution of second place between Glassfish and Jetty.

PHP 5.4 became even more used in December. As a result, PHP 5.3 and 5.5 lost 2% of the market each.

By region, Japan continues to lead with the share of using PHP5.4 at 94%. Interestingly, PHP 5.3 is completely ignored in France and Japan. As we can see, Holland is losing its interest in PHP 5.5 - now the numbers are around 10% versus 25% in November. The leader in using PHP 5.5 is Switzerland.
