The main thing is that users have a suitable and convenient environment. Thematic communities do this a little easier. Non-thematic is more difficult - everyone immediately likes it extremely difficult.

In order to deal with the "community building", you must be an American, or, at worst, a person who is constantly studying thematic American-language periodicals. Such a person understands that the American “building” has a “building-creation” with the Russian about the same amount as the total of “democracy” with “democracy”. That is just the general sound. Therefore, in Russia it is wrong to talk about “community building”, we have self-organizing communities, no one builds them, they themselves appear where there is an SUITABLE place. Monetization in communities also has the nature of adjustment to the user: they gave him a platform for free, and a toilet for coins, walls for free, and heat for coins, an apartment was your business, and putting agitation posters in the front door was a matter of fact. And the attitude of the community to the services of the administration is about the same as that of ordinary people to housing and communal services.
