Now almost all parts of the world, continents and major islands are connected by network routes. Most of the transcontinental highways are laid along the bottom of the seas and oceans (and how else?), To find a new popular direction, where there is no highway, is quite difficult. But the company Ocean Networks still found such a direction, and soon is going to continue the new submarine trunk with a length of 9400 kilometers.
This is the South America Pacific Link (SAPL), a highway that will connect Ecuador (Manta) and Hawaii (Oahu) as a unifying hub for other Pacific highways that go to Asia. Here is a
map of the new highway , where all this can be clearly seen.

In general, there are other highways connecting South America and Asia, however, the new line, according to Ocean Networks, will allow data to be transmitted with less delay.
According to the plan, SAPL will connect the Pacific-Caribbean backbone network in the region of South America, Central America and the West Coast of the United States, allowing you to easily transfer traffic from one region to another. The capacity of the new line, SAPL, will be 30 Tbit / s, standard 100G.
The highway will be ready by mid-2016 if everything goes smoothly.
