Clash of Clans is the most profitable game of the App Store in 2013, but let's admit to ourselves that playing it is sometimes quite boring. First of all, it concerns the permanent mechanical collection of resources. Why not to entrust this work to the robot?
Mark Petzold, a professor at a US university, has assembled a robot from Lego Mindstorms EV3 to play Clash of Clans. The robot “grazes” on the iPad screen and tapes it with a stylus to collect resources. This way he solves the problem of overflowing and stopping the farm, besides (in theory) he can keep the game on all the time, so that other players cannot attack the player’s base. However, the professor turned out to be honest, and every 4 hours turns off the robot, so that other players could attack it. ')
The next task for the developer will be to create more complex programs so that the robot could not only collect resources, but also generate troops, transfer them to clan partners, and even attack other players.
