The digest of news from the world of mobile development for the last week №36 (January 4-12, 2014)
Congratulations to you all on the (finally) New Year holidays and we offer the first review in the new year. There are not so many news, but during our absence a new beta of iOS 7 was released, ZTE showed its modular smartphone, the iPhone turned 7 years old, and the author of the game Kakuro published an interesting history of its development.
One of the most interesting exhibits at the exhibition, without a doubt, was the modular smartphone Eco-Mobius, created by ZTE. On Habré wrote about him back in October, but now he was shown "live", and not only in the form of rendered images and plastic modules.
Many owners of Android-backgrounds have difficulties with the launch of this Linux-software on their devices. By all laws, he seems to be working here, but for some reason root rights are only needed to install it, it itself is distributed in some self-made installers, and the choice of programs is severely limited.
Apple has released the third beta version for developers, which includes, of course, bug fixes and a small set of interface changes that allow you to feel the apple operating system a little differently. ')
