Disposal of batteries. Community initiative

Hello, dear habravchane!

Over a year ago, I stumbled upon a post. The correct disposal of the battery author xZenon . And somehow this topic hooked me. Began to google, read articles. Search for reception points. I realized that in Russia, in principle, this is bad, and outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg, they are completely absent.

I fired up this topic, contacted the guys who created the resource Shaybatareyku.rf . I myself am from Vologda, and I was interested in the issue of sending the collected batteries to Moscow. The answer was: only on their own. I tried to find people for this business, because I don’t even have a car. It all ended in nothing. The enthusiasm faded with time and everything that I essentially did did not throw out the batteries myself and put them in a box, and also took the batteries from relatives and friends. I wanted to collect batteries in the stairwell, making a box, but did not.

In general, this is how all this was forgotten. At times, thoughts came up that the business was good and necessary. But household routine, work, family were not allowed to devote themselves to this good work.
Here in the yard is 2014 and in the new year I want to do something good. I will try to take at least some steps, one of them is already being done, I am writing this post.
I bring you to the notice that on the site roi.ru there was a vote on the initiative Disposal of batteries together with fluorescent lamps . I propose to support this initiative and ask you to spread this information, who can. After all, battery disposal is really very important! I advise you to read the post Proper battery disposal , if you want to know why this is important. I wish people would stop polluting the environment.
