There are photos of the Android interface performed by Nokia

Last month, it became known that Nokia was developing an Android phone codenamed Normandy. Today, Twitter @evleaks published the first photos of its interface, writes The Verge.

The photos show how Nokia has modified the Android interface. The first screenshot shows the lock screen with the notification center, the second shows the screen during a call to Viber, and the third shows the Skype application.

The interface looks like a mixture of Asha and Windows Phone elements. Earlier it was reported that "Normandy" will use the forked version of Android, special for this device and not coinciding with the version of Google. In addition, judging by the screenshots, the phone will have hardware support for Dual SIM.

It is not yet known whether this Android device from Nokia will be released at all - while the company is testing it as a phone for a niche of inexpensive devices, the Nokia acquisition by Microsoft leaves this project in limbo. It is expected that Microsoft will close the deal in the coming months, after which we will most likely be able to learn about the fate of Normandy.
