Sharp has brought to CES the world's first 85-inch 8K standard display capable of displaying a three-dimensional image, for viewing which does not require special glasses.
Unfortunately, there are no details on the technical characteristics of the novelty. The panel was created with the support of Philips and Dolby, so we can assume the presence of a high-quality audio system.
It is clear that such Ultra HD will be available and, more importantly, demanded by units, but the hope of introducing ubiquitous 3D without glasses gains a real background.
In addition, Nintendo with 3DS has long shown that there is nothing beyond this, and it will be especially pleasant to enjoy a movie without 3D glasses.
