Apple has announced the opening on
iTunes of a special subsection of iTunes Latino for "Latino". Additional content in Spanish has been added to this section, including songs, TV shows, video clips, audiobooks and podcasts. This was done at the request of Hispanic users,
reports AP .
According to Eddie Q, iTunes vice president, the market for such music is very large, and the leadership’s mistake was that the section was opened too late. And the number of users of Latin American origin is constantly growing. About 29 million Hispanic people, as well as Mexicans, live in America. In some states, the Spanish language is already used along with English.
