Online auction "Molotok.ru" will announce today the sale of "the ring Porfiry Petrofich", which was discussed in the last novel by Boris Akunin "FM", reports "Kommersan" . Bidding will begin with a starting price of a lot of 500 thousand rubles. It is known that Mr. Akunin will transfer the funds from the sale of the jewel to the Russian Aid Fund - they will go to the treatment of seriously ill children.
According to the newspaper, the novel “FM” was released on May 11 with a circulation of 510 thousand copies. At the end of the second volume of the book, readers were asked to independently find the “ring of Porfiry Petrovich” buried under one of the Moscow trees. But none of the readers found it until the agreed time (September 1). The ring was dug out (it turned out to be in the square on Suvorovskaya Square), and now it will be sold at auction, according to the wishes of readers who voted for it on the Akunin website.
