Our sales leader 2013 - controller KUB-Micro / 60

A few more days - and goodbye, work days! Hello, holiday and long-awaited rest! In the meantime, we, like everyone else, finish the case and summarize ...

At the end of 2013, the KUB-Micro / 60 controller became our sales leader in the telecommunications market. That he will be the hero of the pre-New Year post.

')
KUB-Micro / 60 is “sharpened” for monitoring of such communication objects as telecommunication containers and block-boxes, active cabinets and other “communications” objects.

On its “board” the controller contains the most requested functions for monitoring the objects indicated above. Additional functionality can also be provided by the so-called external expansion modules (BMP). VMPs are slave devices connected to the KUB-Micro / 60 via RS485 in the amount of up to 14 pcs. and providing either an additional number of control points or additional functionality. That is, the monitoring system based on KUB-Micro / 60 is constructed as follows. The facility houses the KUB-Micro / 60 controller with the necessary sensors and BMPs. The controller sends data to the control center and, if necessary, receives control commands from the Center.

But first things first. Let's start with the capabilities of the CUB-Micro / 60 itself.

The functionality of the controller KUB-Micro / 60

KUB-Micro / 60 has the following functional units and technical characteristics:

In KUB-Micro / 60, convenience and ease of installation are provided: all connections are made without removing the case from the device, and the process of mounting the controller is limited to its fixation on the desired surface.

The cost of the device is 4850 p. VAT included.

The functionality of external expansion modules that can be connected to KUB-Micro / 60

So, as we have said, external expansion modules (BMP) can be connected to KUB-Micro / 60 to increase the number of control points or to expand the functionality of the monitoring system. VMPs are inexpensive, compact devices that do not have their own channel of communication with the center and transmit data to the software through the main controller, in this case, via KUB-Micro / 60. Up to 14 BMPs of the same or various types can be connected to KUB-Micro / 60 via RS485 communication interface. RS485 allows you to remove slaves from the KUB-Micro / 60 at a distance of up to 100 m.

Here we list only the most requested external extension modules we have developed. So let's get started:

IS485 (Intelligent Reader) provides security, authorization of access by a Chip-key or Proximity-card and controls the electric lock on the object. The IS485 is available in two versions: for indoor installation and for outdoor placement.

PST485 (Fire Alarm and Automatic Fire Extinguishing Installation Control Module) can be used both on unattended and on serviced sites. It is intended:

  • to control the fire,
  • to enable personnel alert devices (sirens, light displays),
  • for control of technological equipment in case of fire (for example, de-energization of an object),
  • for control and management of fire extinguishing installation on 1 direction.

In addition, PST485 can receive a signal from a third-party alarm system about arming / disarming and entering a control object in order to prevent exposure of people to a fire extinguishing agent.

DVT485 (Humidity and Temperature Sensor) is designed to measure temperature and humidity. Available in 3 versions: DVT485 for measuring temperature and relative humidity at one point, DVT485 in DT mode for measuring only the temperature at one point, DVT485 in 2 DT mode for measuring the temperature at 2 points.

PT485 (Temperature Controller) is used to control the temperature at the facility: when the critical temperature is reached, the system can automatically turn on the air conditioner or heater.

EPU485 (Control unit of energy parameters) is designed to control the operation of electrical conversion plants. It provides remote reading of readings from the pulse (telemetric) output of the electric meter, measurement of voltage and currents on a three-phase power input, as well as measurement of station supply voltage, charge current and discharge current of the battery.

AKB485 (Battery control unit) is designed to measure the key parameters of batteries - voltage and temperature - on monoblocks with voltages of 12V, 6V, 2V. Able to provide regular monitoring of a lead-acid battery or a chain of series-connected batteries located on a telecommunications facility. Together with AKB485, miniature ICA modules are used that are placed directly on the batteries.

There are other external expansion modules in our nomenclature; you can see all the VMPs developed by us here .

The cost of various BMPs ranges from 1,000 to 5,000 rubles. Therefore, if the project requires the use of not one, but several external expansion modules, then it is worth considering the possibility of purchasing a KUB-BS controller in order to reduce the cost of the project. KUB-BS is the most multifunctional controller of our nomenclature, it is able to replace the system consisting of KUB-Micro / 60 and several BMPs with one another. Read more about KUB-BS here.

Also on this topic, you can watch a video in which our technical director Raskin A. Ya. Gives an overview of the KUB-Micro / 60 controller.
