Launch of the project GeeksLab and the announcement of the conference “Happu New Front-End! On the frontend in a new way! "January 18 in Odessa

In 2014, the RootUA Media team launches a new educational project, GeeksLab . Within the project, highly specialized workshops, seminars, various meetings and conferences will be held. The project GeeksLab includes such events: FOSS Sea , WebCamp , Odessa Innovation Week , Startup Weekend Odessa, Odessa StartUP Coffee and IT Tech Meeting (last FOSS Fest and FOSS Meeting).

The list of events of the GeeksLab project will be replenished with the conference: “Happu New Front-End! About the frontend in a new way! ” It will be held on January 18 in Odessa on the basis of the HUB Odessa Coworking space. The conference will focus on the themes of modern typesetting, developing frontends in pure JavaScript, as well as using various CSS and JavaScrpt frameworks for building frontends of web projects.

The GeeksLab project will also be replenished with a master class on the topic: “Modern approaches in layout” . It will be held by Yury Artyukh on January 19, the day after the conference. One of the most famous designers in the CIS, will share new practitioners, as well as considerations that we hope will interest many, about: a base for layout, modern CSS frameworks, Responsive layout (general approaches, images and media, organization of code and work), CSS animation on an industrial scale (management and expediency), Phonegap for the maker-up, Assorted useful things, etc.
