Do not postpone acquisitions in foreign online stores

Yesterday's news.

The Ministry of Finance proposed to reduce the level of customs duties not subject to customs duties to € 150, ITAR-TASS reports on Monday, citing Finance Minister Anton Siluanov.

“We propose a reduction in the level of non-taxable purchases from € 1,000 to € 150,” the minister said.

Siluanov added that the proposals will be formed and sent to the Eurasian Economic Council.
')
He also stressed that the ministry does not have plans to lower the allowed limit on the import of goods by air transport into Russia, which now amounts to $ 10,000.

In October 2013, the Federal Customs Service proposed to introduce a 10 percent customs duty on each international parcel sent by online stores.
At present, only parcels, the declared value of which exceeds € 1000, and parcels with a total weight of more than 31 kg, are taxed.
The amount of duty is 30% of the customs value of the goods, but not less than € 4 per 1 kg of weight.

President Vladimir Putin, in a message to the Federal Assembly in December of this year, said that the government was preparing proposals for streamlining online commerce. According to him, this could be one of the sources of funds for the development of engineering infrastructure.

This is not the first statement.
My forecast is that the documents will be signed no later than April, and the federal law will be approved by summer.

But for our project, this is undoubtedly oportunity.

PS At the post does not pull. And there are no other options, so "translation".
