But how? Without noise and without dust, when many have been waiting for this for so long! The Nexus community on Google+, as it turned out, was also not particularly up to date.
Recognition of the Russian language came on tiptoe along with the latest update to Google search.
It took 5 days, today wrote about this droider.ru , where in the post itself and in the comments it says that Google Now understands very few commands.
I decided to check.
Quickly finding a list of commands Google Now I went to check.

So.

Currently, Google Now can:
1. Search Google (I was able to do it before. In principle, quite recently, this is all that he knew in Russian).
2. Read articles from Wikipedia. For example:

4. Translate currency and voice the result by rounding to kopecks (when converting US dollars into rubles, for example).

6. Create alarms at a certain time or after a certain number of hours.
7. Add notes (Records the recognized text and, apparently just in case, the audio recording of the command).
8. Show time in cities around the world. (It works very strangely. Tokyo, for example, knows, Berlin does not).
9. Create appointments in the calendar.
10. Make calls and write SMS to contacts from the address book. (I don’t know how it is on other versions, but on 4.4 it is perfectly looking for phones and on the network. For example, Call the Bolshoi Theater ).
11. Shows the weather in the current location in other cities. Adequately recognizes that Peter is St. Petersburg. There is a bug: If you request the weather in <city>, and then just the weather - again shows in the city from the past request. The third request is already normal by location. Does not show the weather for tomorrow or for <number> .

13. Somehow considers simple mathematical examples and translates units (meters to feet, for example).
14. Sports requests. Here I was just pleasantly surprised. He showed easily the table of the Russian Premier League, and for example, on request. How Barcelona played in the last match spoke the score of the last match, the time and date of the next one and brought out the schedule of famous future matches and the results of the past.
15. By flight shows the flights in the direction and ... and everything. No flight status, no tickets. Nothing more could be achieved.

From all this I can only draw one conclusion. Based on personal experience - I felt comfortable. It’s convenient for me to drive and call a person to say “I’m approaching” by simply extending my hand and tapping the screen. I find it convenient to add notes and appointments to the calendar. And much more.
I hope that soon the recognition of the Russian language will be improved, and the number of teams will be expanded and we all will live more comfortably, more pleasantly and a little more fun (sometimes he even recognizes those pearls).
Interestingly, Siri will learn all the same or not ...
