Recently, I constantly come across information about various young guys who run charitable startups across the country. It's great that IT people are trying to use their skills to make the world a better and kinder.
In Russia, everything is bad with charity, in the
World Charity Index, it is at 138 out of 153, between Vietnam and Cambodia. That is, if briefly - our people do not help each other. At all.
But the situation is slowly changing, so I decided to make a small review of such projects, so that their creators know: they are not alone. So, let's go:
Your minute for good

')
Website: 1minute.ruDescription: This project was one of the first in this wave, offering revolutionary mechanics: a user watches an advertisement or performs certain actions on a partner’s site, and the money goes to charity.
Unfortunately, it has not been updated for a long time and now it is hardly developing, but I am sure that it inspired many.
Call
Website: vyzov.comDescription: Site for setting goals.
Set goals for yourself, for example, do not smoke for 10 days, make a bet, and if you can, the money will go to charity. You can still challenge your friends.
It is better to read more about the mechanics on the site itself, but the project has become a partner of WWF, and this already causes respect.
Social coins
Website: social-coins.comDescription: A crowdfunding platform where you can help people without giving your money.
The user places a small advertisement in his social network, and the advertiser’s money (5-10p) for this is sent to a charity project.
Not exactly charity in its usual form, rather an open area where everyone can ask for anything (at least on an iPad), and people already decide whether they need to support this person or not.
Welcome Mail.ru
Website: dobro.mail.ruDescription: Since we are talking about crowdfunding, it is impossible not to mention the project Welcome Mail.ru, which is now being actively promoted, including on Habré.
The most popular crowdfunding platform in Russia for traditional charity, analogue of Western
GoFundMe.com or
Razoo.comGood Market
Website: www.dobriyrynok.ruDescription: You place different things on the site, someone buys them, and the money goes to charity.
Or on the contrary, go to the section of goods, buy something interesting, and the money goes to charity.
Goodwillion
Website: goodwillion.ruDescription: Auction charity meetings.
You buy a meeting with some person, and the money for this goes to charity.
Quite a famous project, originally from Belarus. Recently on
StartFellows even flashed their counterpart -
meetcafe.orgSome more interesting projects, but not falling into the “startup” category:
Children are waiting for gifts from the “First Channel”Blago.ruCharity section on planeta.ruChange one lifeSolidarityMercy.ruTradition.rugift a lifeRusfundDo not think for advertising, but it just so happened that I am a participant in one of the above projects, I decided not to hide this, so that my conscience would not torment me. I will not say what, so as not to promote it somehow “specially”.
That's all for now, if you know any innovative charity project that I missed - leave it in the comments, I will add to the post.
