First Steam Machines arrived to owners

A few days ago, Valve announced the distribution of 300 prototypes of Steam Machines , and today the first of those lucky people who got invitations to the beta test began receiving their packages - and naturally, more and more photo and video prototypes appear on the Web. I think many people on Habré will be interested to see how the long-awaited “box” from Valve looks like - it is worth noting that the company approached its design in a rather original way.

One of the recipients and author of these photos created a topic on Reddit . In his words, the characteristics of the machine sent are as follows: Intel Cpu with 3.20 GHz 4 cores. 15.6 GB RAM, gtx 780 GPU with 3 Gb of video memory. But the controller did not quite meet the expectations - however, that's why it is a prototype.
