Another news about smartphones today. It seems that soon we will be able to see a test smartphone from Nokia, with Android OS. The working title of this project is Normandy, and we know about it originally from a twitter account whose owners publish all sorts of “leaks” from the mobile world. In this case, the account previously published reliable information, which was soon confirmed.
So, the Normandy form factor is quite ordinary, the smartphone will be similar to Lumia. It can be seen that there are no buttons typical for “windscreen” buttons under the display. Unfortunately, there are no more technical details about the smartphone (unless it is clear that the camera is here without a flash).

But little is known about the software part of the phone. The fact is that the developers decided to develop their Android fork, specifically for this device. Something similar is used in the Kindle Fire - Android is installed there, yes, but many changes and additions have been made to the OS.
"Normandy" - a budget smartphone, most likely, its price will be in the range of 70-160 US dollars. Apparently, Nokia plans to release the phone before all the assets of the company become owned by Microsoft. The release of the phone is scheduled for 2014.
