Application for Android - Meople.Streamer. When you do not need an account in social networks
Our company , as can be seen from the blog, specializes in projects in the direction of aggregation of data from social networks.
In the process of working on the Meople.Net project , we saw that social networks are not only an area for a party of interest and a platform for social media, but also a significant segment of the information field as a whole.
Almost every serious mass media publication has pages in social networks, on which it rebroadcasts its main channels, plus, especially for this business, sharpened, social media and resources of reputable Internet portals and bloggers.
And this segment of current sources of information is practically not tilled! Apart from the applications that are designed for specific social networks and optimized specifically for them.
The obstacle for receiving news content is the need to have not only accounts on each network, but also to be a member / subscriber of communities, publics and groups. Our application elegantly solves this problem.
The development of this idea led to the emergence of the Meople.Streamer application - an aggregator of news information from resources on social networks.
The product was conceived as flexible and intuitive, with the possibility of broad personalization. And that's what happened:
To use the application, it is proposed to create an account specifically for it, which is used for authorization (but there is an opportunity to try the demo version without registration). By default, catalogs of sources (authors) are available, grouped by topics.
Currently, this section contains English-language information, work is underway on the RUNET segment.
And then you can use the unique features: the user can choose any resource of interest (social media, group or public), which has its localization in the social network (currently supported by VK, FB, G + and Instagram). Consider the algorithm on the example of a respected Habrahabr :

Thus, a user can form channels (streams) from authors who are interested in him, mix sources from different social networks in one channel and have quick access to information.
There is the possibility of deferred reading. You can mark the material you are interested in with an asterisk and it will be moved to the favorites list, which can be accessed even without connecting a data network.
In standard mode, familiarization is available with a short version of the news, there is the possibility of switching to the full version, as well as sharing in the direction you choose.
The functions of the user menu, which is hidden behind the left edge of the screen, allow you to manage the channel list, delete unnecessary ones, etc.
And where is the highlight? Of course it is, because we wanted to create not just a news aggregator, of which there are a sufficient number.
Meople.Streamer firstly gives the user access to information in a direction that standard applications do not affect. And these are all possible publics and groups that exist only in the form of pages on social networks, but are nonetheless authoritative and interesting. And secondly - there is no need to log in to the basic networks and subscribe to communities and groups to receive information from them!
The application is free and already available for download.
