Google is gaining partners?
Today, the “community of managers” E-xecutive held a press conference dedicated to updating the design and interface of its portal. Actually, many have probably already seen the new design, I don’t want to discuss it. Everyone has their own ideas about the beautiful :)
A little background ...
The portal was created in 2000 by Ward Howell International, which in 2006 sold E-xecutive to Prof-Media holding. Since then, the portal has been managed by a subsidiary of the B2B Media holding, which, less than a month ago, transferred it to the 1C-Bitrix platform.
At the press conference, the Portal Directorate spoke about the results (160,000 registered users, in fact, about 60,000 of them are active) and innovations (New platform; New design; Personal account; bookmarks; blogs, etc.).

More interesting is another ...
At the press conference, it was announced about the introduction of new services from Google, as reported to the public by Max Azarov, product manager of Google.
Simplify the life of managers going through services: Gmail, Gtalk, Google Calendar and Google Docs. It all works now. In the future we plan to add to the portal Google Maps, YouTube, Picasa, and possibly Blogger.
In fact, this is the first case in Russia when such a large portal is massively switching to Google services. We all know about the capabilities of Google Apps and API solutions of the company, but so far we are not very willing to use them. Although, the technical director of the portal praised Google for the fact that the total implementation of all these services took only one week!
Will this event a push for other Internet projects? Your comments are welcome!
