The eagle stole the camera from environmentalists, capturing his flight and himself

Usually, when using any equipment, there are cases of equipment damage, failure, and so on. But no one pledges in the research budget losses from the theft of technology by animals. And in vain - the other day it became known that the eagle stole a camera from scientists who kept a permanent record of the life of Australian crocodiles living in salt water. Probably, the bird decided that the camera was something delicious, and took the technique away from the scene, deciding to peck at it later. The camera also captured the flight of the eagle, and its disappointed look after the bird realized that it would not be possible to profit.

The camera itself later returned to its owners, however, they found it several weeks later in "hundreds of kilometers upstream." Amazingly, she was found at all. Below you can find the notorious video, where everything is clearly visible.

By the way, this is not the first time that animals, for one reason or another, become temporary owners of cameras, recording either themselves or their path. So, a couple of years ago, the sea turtle "attached" to itself a camera on its paw, which recorded the path of the animal under water.
