Preliminary applications for domains in more than 600 new zones

I was pretty surprised that there is still no post that since December 3, 2013, under the New gTLD - REG.RU program, it is the first in Russia to start accepting applications for domain names in 638 new top level domains.

Let me remind you that the New gTLD program is a large-scale ICANN project, in which more than 900 new top-level domains will be launched. The program will significantly expand the global domain space and make it much more diverse. Thanks to New gTLDs, dozens of new geodomains, industry and specialized zones, corporate domains and others will open.

Submitting a preliminary application allows users to reserve any domain for themselves, thereby increasing their chances of registering it during the start of sales. Now you can apply for domains in such zones as .APP, .ART, .BLOG, .BUY, .THE, .COM, .MOSCOW and others.
