Overview of paid providers independent of the Internet provider IPTV (OTT TV)

Good day Habrousobschestvo. I visited the idea to connect a good high-speed Internet for home to watch independent from the Internet provider IPTV (OTT TV). IPTV from two Internet providers who were not satisfied. The first had 19 channels. At the second 38, but they could be viewed only through the browser. I wanted to find any paid independent IPTV service provider (OTT TV) (and not to collect free playlists in the network’s open spaces that are banned daily) to download its playlist to the VLC media player and live happily, having high-speed Internet and paid independent of Internet provider IPTV (OTT TV).

I found 4 such independent IPTV service providers (OTT TV):

1) Kartina TV ( http://kartina.tv )
2) MEGA impuls ( http://www.megaimpuls.com )
3) Russian Telek ( http://russiantelek.com )
4) Russian TV online ( http://www.russia-iptv.com )
')
Next will go their review. Who are interested in welcome under cat.

1) Kartina TV

About company:
Head office in London, and those. support in Germany. In addition to the classic IPTV on a computer, it also sells its set-top boxes for TVs (which you pay for delivering yourself).

It is possible to get a free trial access for 3 days ( http://kartina.tv/glossary.php?id=17 ). If earlier it was sent to an email (after logging in via social networks), now you need to get a scratch card, erase the protective layer and activate the promo code. Scratch cards are given only by promoters and distributors.

Number of channels:
145 channels, 17 radio stations + video library (in which there are not too many films and mostly not top news)

Prices:
Annual subscription is 174 euros (which is approximately equal to 7,609 rubles a year / 634 rubles a month).
Plus another 54 euros (which is approximately equal to 2361 rubles) for the cheapest set-top box (if you need one).

What is the result:
Only three ways to view:
1) Through the browser
Screenshot in the spoiler:

But looking through the browser is somehow inconvenient in my opinion, there is a feeling of something wrong.
2) Through your own IPTV player for computer (KartinaTV Player)
Screenshot in the spoiler:

3) Through your own IPTV player for iOS / Android devices (and having read negative reviews about it, it can be concluded that there are only two ways to view it)

I wrote in those. Kartina TV support is a question of how to open their IPTV in the VLC media player, but they technically scrubbed me: “Theoretically, you can probably do it, but you will have to configure the VLC media player yourself.”

Habrayuzer sgu6enka provided a screenshot in the comments that you can display a stream from the KartinaTV Player to the VLC media player:
Spoiler instructions:
With these settings in Kartinovsky player, the preview opens in a separate player:

+ In a separate window, vlc player, you must specify the path on the first page of settings

But I could not check, because:
1) My trial access has ended, and I don’t know where to get a promo scratch card with access for 3 days.
2) The Advanced Settings tab is not available (maybe it will appear in the player after purchasing a full account).

2) MEGA impuls

About company:
Again, the company is not local, located somewhere in Germany.

Free trial access (though only on 5 channels).

Number of channels:
Approximately 32 channels + video library

Prices:
Annual subscription is 92.88 euros (which is approximately equal to 4061 rubles per year / 338 rubles per month).

What is the result:
The number of channels is poor.

One way to view - only through the browser. First, I read into the installation instructions for the VLC media player on their website, but this is only so that the browser picks up the plugin from it. One word through the VLC media player can not watch.
Screenshot in the spoiler:

There may be problems when paying from Russia.

3) Russian Telek

About company:
Located somewhere in the USA. The service is not available on the territory of Russia (but anyone who wants can get around - judging by the forums). Basically vtyuhivayut their TV set-top boxes.

Number of channels:
According to the advertising on the site - more than 500+ video library (but in fact, probably about 150 will also be useful). The exact list of channels is not found.

Prices:
The cheapest prefix + 1 year of viewing costs 326.63 dollars (which is approximately equal to 10484 rubles per year / 873 rubles per month)

What is the result:
Again, viewing only through the browser (not looking at the set-top box). Again through the VLC media player can not watch (although they require it to install for the plugin).

There may be problems when paying from Russia.

4) Russian TV online

About company:
The company is located in the USA in Florida. Service does not work in Russia, Ukraine and CIS countries. As a consultant girl said: “This is related to the problems of the legislation of your country.” Of course, theoretically, you can use different proxy servers and redirect traffic, but this is overkill.

Number of channels:
Approximately 200 channels (according to them, because I could not see the full list)

Prices:
Annual subscription is $ 143.99 (which is approximately equal to 4622 rubles per year / 385 rubles per month).

What is the result:
And again, the ability to view only through the browser (although the installation of the VLC media player is required in order to install the plugin from it).

Addition 1) Rocket-TV

( http://raketa-tv.com ) (Fidbeck from akira )

About company:
Works through ACE Stream Media (must be installed). There is a free browsing through the browser (additional channels are added when registering on the site) and a VIP subscription (with it: 1 - all ads from the site are removed; 2 - viewing on various devices appears; 3 - channel buffering is accelerated, i.e. should not slow down).

Number of channels:
About 200

Prices:
2.99 euros (about 134 rubles) for a monthly VIP subscription
35.88 euros (approximately 1617 rubles) for the annual VIP subscription

What is the result:
In essence, it is a torrent TV, where users themselves broadcast their channels (broadcast) to each other. All this is buffered and distributed to the rest. When buying a VIP subscription, you can view on various devices besides the browser (VLC media player, Samsung Smart TV, Android, Apple (OS X), Linux, Dune HD, MAG 250 / Aura HD, Dreambox). The playlist works through Proxy. Every two minutes a little slows down. As I use free browsing through the browser, I can’t tell if it will slow down when buying a VIP ticket. But even just registering on the site - you will have a sick number of channels.

Addition 2) Pro-tv.net

( http://pro-tv.net ) (Fidbek from colleagues from work)

About company:
Transmits streams of channels that are distributed by people or someone else via a browser.

Number of channels:
It’s hard to count - but about 400.

Prices:
Free browsing.

What is the result:
View only through the browser. There are no other alternatives.
Screenshot in the spoiler:

Addition 3) Zargacum.net

( http://zargacum.net ) (Fidbek from colleagues from work)

About company:
He was advised by a colleague, because they still have a free IPTV beta test. Need to register.

Number of channels:
68

Prices:
Indicated on the site.

What is the result:
1) Works through the browser.
Screenshot in the spoiler:

2) Also works great through the VLC media player through the playlist (generated on the site).

Findings:

In the comments you can see the "real" and "live" feedback from Habr users, in which there are many interesting and really good solutions. Unfortunately, there is almost no free time to consider them all. For this reason, I just added them to the post in the list below. Anyone who wrote in the comments - many thanks.
