The building was turned into a working "Rubik's Cube" with the help of Arduino

Which of us did not hold this toy in our hands? If there are such people, all the same, everyone knows what the Rubik's Cube is and how it works. Probably, the name of the engineer Rubik went down in history forever. And his business lives, despite the high technology, video games, and more. Moreover, sometimes high technology takes the pleasure of playing “Cube” to a new level.

An Austrian designer, for example, turned an entire building into a huge “Rubik's Cube”, and the edges of this toy can be controlled, as in the case of the usual “cube”. To do this, use the Rubik's Cube layout, a peculiar gaming manipulator, Arduino, specialized software, wireless communication (Bluetooth), motion sensors, a gyroscope and a laptop. The manipulator (is it worth saying that all its mechanical parts are imprinted on a 3D printer?) Is equipped with sensors, a wireless communication module and a gyroscope, thanks to which all manipulations with a reduced “cube” are repeated on the building's lighting system.

At the same time, changes are made almost instantly, without any problems. Rotate the axis - it "turns" on the building. Turn the cube over to see what's in the bottom? The same thing happens with the building (of course, the building does not interchange the foundation on the roof, but the lighting system completely duplicates all user actions).

In general, all this is better to see once in action than to read the description of the system.
